This position is for the SWSD Software Pathfinding and Innovation (SPI) team located in Cordoba, Argentina. SPI mission is to execute the SSG strategic direction by identifying, architecting and prototyping emerging usages (in a two to 3 years horizon) through underlying software and services that provide a strategic differentiator for Intel. In this position, your responsibilities will mainly involve:

* Participating and contributing in ideation process leading to development of new technological concepts and SW prototypes.
* Market research, exploration and identification of technology trends in the consumer and emerging markets
* Development of business plans, financial analysis, market research and customer value proposition to develop new products.
* Closely working with customers and engineering teams.
* Representing market needs and product value internally and externally to engineering and business teams.
* Working effectively with other teams in SSG and Intel, as well as external Independent Software Vendor (ISVs) and OEMs, to lead cooperative development efforts built around SPIces concepts and technologies

You should possess a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent. An M.B.A is desirable with at least four years of product engineering experience. Additional qualifications include:
* Fluent written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills
* Strong competencies in creativity, leadership, reading the system, decisiveness and tolerance to ambiguity.
* Demonstrated experience with technological customers within the Latin America Region.
* Capability to teach technology trends in order to generate synergy on the market understanding
* Knowledge of at least one key area of interest, e.g., mobility, software services, consumer software, gaming, e-payment, web 2.0, social networking, e-education
